What happens on Jelly Bay
Jelly Bay is a crypto-only marketplace for hardware, electronics, and collectibles. Buyers pay in supported coins, funds are held in an escrow-style flow, and sellers get paid once orders show Delivered and the dispute window passes.
  • Real photos of the actual item are required.
  • Seller marketplace fee is a flat 3% on successful sales.
  • Shipping for the contiguous U.S. is included in the listing price.
For buyers — step-by-step
Step 1
Create your account
Sign up with your email, choose a secure password, and complete any basic profile details. This gives you access to your orders, messages, and delivery status.
Step 2
Browse and check listings
Use categories and search to find what you want. Every listing should include:
  • Real photos of the exact item you’ll receive
  • Condition notes, model/SKU, and specs
  • What’s included (accessories, cables, extras)
If anything is unclear, message the seller before you buy.
Step 3
Checkout with crypto
Add the item to your cart and proceed to checkout. Choose one of the supported cryptocurrencies shown on the payment screen, then:
  • Send the exact amount to the address or QR code shown.
  • Wait for the on-chain confirmations (the screen will update).
Your payment is held in an escrow-style flow until delivery is confirmed.
Step 4
Track shipping & confirm delivery
The seller must ship within 3 business days and upload a valid tracking number. You can monitor progress from your orders page. Once tracking shows Delivered:
  • You get a short window (typically 48 hours) to open a dispute if there’s an issue.
  • If everything looks good, no action is needed—funds will move to the seller automatically.
For sellers — step-by-step
Step 1
Apply to become a seller
Jelly Bay vets sellers before they can list. In your seller application you’ll typically provide:
  • An existing sales profile (for example, an eBay or marketplace link)
  • Recent monthly sales volume
  • Any relevant references or store links
Once approved, you’ll unlock the seller tools in your account.
Step 2
Create a compliant listing
When you list an item, make sure to:
  • Upload clear, real photos of the actual item (stock photos can’t be the only images).
  • Describe the condition accurately, including any flaws or issues.
  • Include model/SKU/specs and all included accessories.
  • Avoid restricted items like counterfeit goods, illegal items, pharmaceuticals, or dangerous materials.
Step 3
Ship on time and upload tracking
After an order is paid:
  • Ship within 3 business days using reliable packaging.
  • Include all promised accessories and extras.
  • Upload a valid tracking number to the order.
Shipping to the contiguous U.S. should already be included in your listing price.
Step 4
Get paid after delivery
Jelly Bay charges a flat 3% marketplace fee on successful sales. Funds are released to you when:
  • Tracking shows the package as Delivered, and
  • The 48-hour dispute window passes with no issues, or any dispute is resolved.
Payouts are processed on a regular schedule (for example, weekly on Thursdays (ET)), and network withdrawal fees may apply depending on the asset.
